LATEST STUDIO SAFETY PROTOCOLS
The COVID-19 pandemic appears to be more under control at the moment, which has allowed businesses, including EBSOM, to relax their safety protocols, while remaining conscious of the health and safety of our students and families. Masking is now no longer required for piano lessons or studio recitals, but please continue to adhere to the following measures when attending lessons at Ellen Badcock Studio of Music this year.

Masking is now no longer required for piano lessons or studio recitals, but please continue to adhere to the following measures when attending lessons at Ellen Badcock Studio of Music this year.
What you can expect from EBSOM:
- I will use a HEPA air purifier in the music room as suggested by health advisories to help reduce the risk of the spread of infection.
- I will schedule periodic breaks throughout the day to sanitize all surfaces (piano keys, bench, bathroom surfaces, etc.).
- I will provide hand sanitizer for students as required.
What I expect from Students:
- As I do not have a dedicated waiting area in my home, students will wait in their vehicle until the time of their lesson and only enter the house immediately before the scheduled lesson time. Family members will not accompany students into the house and will not wait in the house during lessons.
- Masking is NOT REQUIRED.
- Students will wear socks or slippers for their lessons (no bare feet, please).
- Students will wash their hands thoroughly with soap before entering the music room, and use the hand sanitizer provided as required during the lesson.
- Students will cancel their lesson if they are sick. Lessons cancelled due to illness with 24 hours notice may be offered an online (Zoom) lesson in its place. See full Studio Policy on this website.
